Three points were confirmed:
- Unlinking or changing a billing profile type is not possible. No exceptions.
- Create a new developer account under a new email, choose the individual type at signup, attach a personal billing profile, and transfer the existing apps.
- Revenue held on the old account can be requested after the new account clears identity verification.
The third point mattered most. The main fear was that starting over would forfeit the held revenue; recovery was confirmed in writing.

Autoresponders and human agents can give different answers. A definitive answer only came after replying directly to the case email. That distinction causes trouble again later.
